An upper level trough will move across the Ohio River Valley, pushing the deep layer ridging farther to the east. As the deep layer ridging is broken down, a weak cold front will be allowed to move southward near our area,
helping moisture pooling to occur. Forecast soundings show a decent increase in PWATs during this time. As for now, have increased PoPs to 20% in the extended forecast, but will continue to monitor this.
