That 1982 season was shortened by strike, wasn't it? Got in a pickup game of BB with him and others in War Mem Gym. My buddy, who himself was a valid leaper, went up to snare a rebound over the the goal. Robert went up behind him several inches higher and smashed that ball so hard into the goal with the gentle touch of an NFL linebacker, all 240-250 pounds of him. Never grazed my friend. It ocurred to me at that moment how talented NFL players were/are.
