I saw a guy at the gas station yesterday filling 10 5-gallon gas cans ...


and, by the way, I wasn't there to hoard gas ... I was almost out of gas. Anyway, I wasn't going to call him out as an a-hole but I wanted to know what he was doing. So while I was pumping my gas I said 'You must think this is going to be pretty bad.' He looked up and said 'I am in law enforcement and the only reason no one is saying how bad this is going to be is because they don't want a panic run on gas. Law enforcement is telling all resources to load up on gas so we can continue to do our jobs.' So perhaps (once again) we aren't getting an accurate picture of what is really happening from the govt and media.

Back to my social distancing but thought this was an interesting exchange.
