Schools like Cornell and Nrthwestern can do it with financial aid

A bunch of the top private academic schools now give free tuition to all students with parents below a certain income level (can be as high as $125-150K/yr). No need for an athletic scholarship for those students. I have no idea how Iowa and Penn State do it.
