Recycling for me

We got a new piece of patio furniture yesterday that came in a huge box. Unfortunately our regular recycling is Thursday, so it came a day too late. I hate having those things lying around the house so I broke it down and took it to the dump recycling center, along with some glass that the recycling doesn’t pick up anymore.

My son still doesn’t believe me that back in the day we actually had a baseball diamond at the dump in Fairfax, and for a couple seasons I’d have practice there once a week.
