Still one of the best, if not the best, pure car chases. Saw the movie

multiple times with my HS buddies at local small town theater (and yes I am an OF). If I recall correctly, S.McQueen did all the driving of the Mustang in the chase.The scene where he missed the turn and the wheel hoped as he backed up wasn't planned, but was filmed and looked good. so it was left in the movie.
