Everything you say has merit but I believe most are excited because


of the established connections Mike Jones has
-Talent connections in recruiting kids to Dematha and make no mistake the players he attracted are competitively recruited
-connections with USA basketball
-maybe his most important connection is Nike. Dematha has a Nike sponsorship and he has coached Nike Hoops Summit team. Good bad or otherwise these shoe companies matter when it comes to recruiting
You’re right though. We have to wait and see how this works out.
