Thought UCLA’s gamesmanship / “sportsmanship” was quite poor tonight.


I saw some taunting toward VT on at least one of their two home runs and I thought Faraino perhaps ought to act like she’s been there before, in terms of strikeouts. And a few of her “expressions” also appeared to be aimed at VT, in terms of pointing/staring in. Jeez. How old are we?

Technically, taunting can earn you the thumb. I’m not surprised we didn’t see anything called, but if I were VT, I would feel flat out disrespected. We showed incredible respect in our Game 1 victory. No theatrics. UCLA did not reciprocate. I hope VT uses that as fuel tomorrow night.
