My FIL while pledging in the 50's...


...had as one of the classes task to get a life size photo of the fraternity president, who happened to also be 6'5" tall and was rarely seen outside formal functions as he was always studying. Coupled with the fact that an actual picture of the size they wanted was not within their technical nor budgetary means. They racked their brains on how to accomplish such a feat when the solution came to one of the pledges. When called to account for their task, they brought in a roll of tar paper and rolled it out to 8'. When asked what this was they explained it was a photo of the Archon, however they had taken it at night.

They passed the task.
