just sent this to the HOA office and the HOA BOD:

"Good afternoon, X*X*X*:

"With respect to the email sent around yesterday, perhaps you can help me better understand where X*X*X*X* is at present in treating our trees for lecanium scale infestations.

"If I read it correctly, from your entire community email, X*X*X*X* Landscaping tagged 350 trees, and then did they treat those trees for the scale problem?

Until this morning, I hadn’t driven around all the streets in X*X*X*X* for quite a while so I may have missed the tree-tagging and treatment last month. If so, where was the prevalence of trees with scale?

"Driving around from one end of the community to the other today I found just 5 (five) trees with orange tags, as well as a couple of small trees that were obviously very dead and beyond help. Three of these five trees are not at all that close to each other.

"I’m all for treating a tree infestation and will certainly treat those in our yard, but if the 350 trees that were tagged and treated (?) are near us at this end of X*X*X*X*, I’d like to know.

"If the 350 were already treated, will those residents be as responsible for continuing the treatments?
