one was in the car, plugged into the cigarette lighter (yeah, I'm old) so I'm thinking grate, I'll jump it. got another one in the house which I had lost the wall plug for.

The first didn't work because, well the car battery was dead and probably hadn't been charging for a while, it even occurs to me that it did the opposite, continued to drain the battery until it was really dead!!! and the one with the missing wall plug wasn't charged. Sorta one of those bad days like MP4VT2004 had yesterday, system fails, backup system fails, backup to the backup system fails.

Anyway, got un-stupid and bought a new one, one can be charging while the other's in the car.

PS I've carried those in my car for a long time, even when they were lead acid batteries with a handle. Rescued people about six times, and I mean really rescued them, eg, late after work when the parking lot was pretty empty, once at Floydfest when I was in a field of cars and this one girl had to leave and head back somewhere. etc.
