No, of course not but there does need to be intensive training on off-field
threats. You can hate me all you want, but I have seen too many good kids get trapped in bad situations over the last decade at VT. Maybe it is confirmation bias but we seem to lose a lot more players to off-field dumb-ass issues than other schools. What is happening to Izzy, a very good kid, was preventable and it even could impact more people than the two named.
In a weird twist, I know the barista that served the victim his coffee at 8:00 AM every morning. She liked him considerably and saw no evidence of the issues he was clearly dealing with inside.
This is my last post on this matter and hope and pray it ends as well as possible.
