OK player thrown out at the plate in the last inning down four runs. What a brain dead play - don't know if the coach sent her or she just went. A colossal lapse in judgment. Just bad baseball - so basic and yet it was royally botched. When you are behind in the last inning, extra bases and runs mean nothing until it involves the tying run. And yet, the talking heads doing the game made no comment about how bad the play was. It should have been criticized harshly but the announcers acted like it was all normal. I don't think they understand some of the basics of baseball.
