I have certainly discovered that the human palate


is hardly a fixed and easily definable thing.

What tastes good to one can be horrid to another, and vice versa.

Better to just find what you like and run with it than even attempt to argue why someone else's tastes are "wrong."

Me, I like whiskey/bourbon and good tequila. Even when I did drink beer when I was younger, it was honestly more because everyone else was doing it than because I liked it. These days, I just don't care what others think and would rather drink something that makes me happy. So, I skip the beer and don't mind dropping $70 on a bottle of bourbon.
