Much of the softball talent in VA is in Class 2, 3 and 4


Sometimes rankings get inflated by playing in a higher class of high school ball. That higher classification however is only based on school size not talent. While the idea of better ball players go to the larger schools because of competition for spots may hold true in sports like football and basketball, I don't think the same is true in softball.

Just my 2 cents.
