We were T-boned at an intersection in Anchorage in '06...totalled our...


Santa Fe but we were alright after a couple of weeks. We were hit on the drivers side just in front of the front wheel...I was driving and got knocked out for about 5 minutes. Airbags deployed. Everyone else got a jostle.

The driver ran the light several seconds after it turned red, I was the 2nd car thru the intersection. He was doing about 45MPH. Witnesses said they couldn't believe he didn't stop and just sped up when the light started to change. He was driving a Chrysler Le Baron and the Santa Fe knocked his car across 6 lanes of traffic on the other side of the road. Then his car was hit head on by a Dodge Ram pickup, luckily the truck was braking before the collision. His wife was severely injured and he was pretty beat up too. Their kids went unscathed.

The crap of it all was he tried to sue everybody for damages sustained...it didn't go anywhere but damn it was a pain in the arse.
