I’m not sure why this an issue for anyone anymore

My family had covid last December. Sucked for a few days, but we survived. Wife and I and all the kids were vaccinated in the spring.

I get the politics of it all and there is no denying that covid was skillfully played as a political football. But I have a great job and my employer gets vaccinated, I’m willing to be part of the experiment.

So if I’m a college athlete, and I want to play, I’m not sure why anyone would not get vaccinated. Yeah, I get the fact the vaccines aren’t fully approved by the FDA yet. But millions of people have received these shots and they have been safe overall

Can you imagine the blowback this fall if a team loses a game because it has unvaccinated players out that got sick with covid-19?

Of course how many kids in college last year haven’t already been infected by covid? I’m sure there are some.

Bottom line, wide covid-19 outbreaks in the fall of 2021 shouldn’t be a problem. Now all the other latent viruses out there, they might be an issue. But I’m done with covid, even delta variants.
