Are you just stating the truism that everyone dies sometime?
Obviously, everyone who died of COVID would have eventually died.
But it is not the case that exclusively elderly people died. As of when numbers were release on July 7, out of 596,740 US deaths up to that point:
* 331 children aged 0-17 had died
* 2424 aged 18-29
* 6974 aged 30-39
* 18,534 aged 40-49
* 94,632 aged 50-64
While obviously the lionshare were 65+, there were still a lot of young people who died.
