Basically agree with your assessment, but with a few “adjustments”:

The SEC isn’t throwing out anyone.....don’t be confused about that.

Ga Tech left the SEC and I highly doubt they or their alumni envision ever going back.

The Hoos and the Holes are joined at the hip from their sports history. Both sponsor big time Olympic sports, most importantly men’s lacrosse and soccer. Look for both of them plus GT heading to the Big Ten.
