That's the one..used to go to a bar in the basement of that bldg->

w/ my roommate in the afternoons when I lived in Vawter my first 2 years. It was really for grad students and faculty, but they never said anything. It had orange carpet up the walls and the coldest beer in Blacksburg. They served draft in iced mugs. It was so cold that you had to wait a couple of minutes for the ice crystals to melt before you drank the beer.

It was different from Donaldson-Brown IIRC (next door and a nice 2 story brick home)Actually even had a chair from D-B next door up in our room. Nice chair. It showed up VERY late one night..Stayed until we moved out

Fond memories of those places! .
