for NC's decision to deny our tax refund. In the meantime, we got an NCDOR refund check yesterday. The amount was around 23% of what we had originally expected, and we quickly slammed it through mobile deposit. But the way they computed how we got what we got is chief among the reasons I will never master accounting, much less tax auditing. It'll be interesting to see how our team responds to NC having denied virtually every expense and deduction I claimed - the same ones the same way I've been doing since 1984.
