Starting at 200, you count towards the field difficulty ratings of any tournaments you play in.
World ratings mainly count for majors and WGC events.
The highest one that matters is that top 100, almost always get invites to the PGA Championship, then top 64 qualify for the match play.
If you do well in a WGC, that counts for points for both the European and PGA tours

There are two tournaments in December, the CJ Cup (PGA) and the ZOZO that are held in Korea and Japan that are happening in the US this year that traditionally have extra slots for the Asian and Japan tours, with Vincent being #12 in Japan and the Asian tour not happening this year, he could possibly get an invite into one of those events this year. Those tournaments haven't released their qualifying criteria for this year yet. The WGC-HSBC in China is being rumored to cancel again this year.
