Not to belabor the point, but if you want to be near friends in SC

and commute to Huntersville, think about the Steele Creek area in SW CLT. We live here and there's pretty easy access to airport, 485 AND to SC. A lot of residential/retail options and growing all the time. We lived in S. Charlotte for years and it took 30-40 minutes often just to get out of town and onto 77 or 85. Now we're much much closer. BTW another road to stay off in commutes in NC/SC Rte 49. Often in gridlock.
