1. Our DL looked really good against UNC, but was not getting too pressure against Hockman. MTSU's line is worse than WVUs.

2. I do think our DBs are better, but they do have some big guys that could cause matchup issues. They don't have a guy like Josh Downs and I think we have an edge here though

3. Their RB is good, but has been bottled up all year. I think our defense is good enough to do it, but how VT would it be if he had a breakout game against us.

4. Last years OL was better than this years OL. This years OL is good, but may not look as good because Herbert isn't on the team anymore.

5. Our QB has wheels, and I think we have more true read option so he can get the ball on planned plays, but we need to actually be able to pass the ball on pass plays. Against MTSU he was picking up yards on scrambles.

6. BB has a decent arm. Certainly not an NFL arm. A lot of times he hasn't even been trying to hit WRs in stride though. See the long catch by Turner last week. That is 6 with a better throw but BB gave that up to make sure it was a catch. Why? Lack of confidence in his own arm? Lack of confidence in Turner to run it down? Was he coached that way?

7. Our WRs are good with the ball in their hands, but we were not able to pass consistently on MTSU's backup corners.

8. Deep TE room, but Mitchell was the only matchup nightmare that we had on offense. Him not being on the field means that other teams can play us a lot more honestly.

9. The RBs are better than most years post David Wilson, but I doubt we have a RB that averages over 5 YPC this year.

10. Special teams have been good, but kicker is still an unknown. There are going to be tight games where FGs under 40 need to be consistent. JPR made a long one and missed a short one. We don't know which we should take more stock of.
