Been away all daysorry for delayed response.


There are fours things that point positive.
1) He showed some real brilliance last season - just did not have the experience or strength to pull off the upsets or finish some moves.
2) See @wasris Smith really looks like he has reshaped his High School body over the summer and added some good weight.
3) He is participating in off-season high quality FS senior events..he is putting the work in.
4) As @HokieLifer2 stated he had an excellent UWW Seniors in May and beat some quality opponents - beat Trumble 10-3.

Summarydo I think he will shock this year?.No. Do I think he will crush the stacked 197 ACC class?.probably not. Do I think he has the potential to pull off an upset or two in ACCT and possibly get 2nd or 3rd?yes definitely. And more importantlydo I think he will improve his 197 stock outside of the ACC?..absolutely. Ranked mid-40's is way too low IMO. He could be 4th or 5th in the ACC and still do well enough to be around 20th nationally. Personally I think he might improve enough to be around #15.
