Covid protocol at school: Here's why # in quarantine is useless...

Here's our county's new guidance for parents:
If ANYONE in your household has ANY (1) of these symptoms:
Fever over 100.4
Headache
Sore throat
Cough
Runny nose
Ear ache
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Congestion
Shortness of breath
Loss of taste/smell
Or fatigue

Then: "Do not send your child to school. All members of the household with any of these symptoms should get Covid tested and quarantine until test results are back."

If every test comes back negative, then the child can return to school.

So, technically, if anyone in your house has diarrhea, you should get Covid tested and keep your kids home from school.
Funny thing is, I have a headache just about every day after wearing my mask all day and teaching. I should probably be quarantining my whole house and getting tested daily.
