Our offense isn't that complicated, especially compared to Stineys' O


Remember what David Wilson said after he joined the Giants...his NFL playbook was half the size of the one from VT.

One of the things I really liked hearing from Coach Fu when he was hired was that he planned to cut back on the playbook so the guys could learn and execute the plays better.

That was great news after 15 years of Stiney adding plays, but never removing any. Every year around the 5th game he would say we need to cut back on the playbook. One would have thought that he would learn from that the first time, but he kept making the same mistake year after year. But I digress...

Our playbook isn't anywhere close to as huge as the one from our previous O-coordinator...

On paper our QB recruiting has been decent during the Fu era, but most haven't developed into the QBs we hoped. It's either we're not recruiting the right QBs or we aren't developing them properly.

Fingers crossed our freshman QB running the practice squad this year will be the one we've been waiting on...
