There are very real problems with the program


They have been self evident for many years. This group consists of two extremes of people: Those who see the problems and know that they are institutional, and those that delude themselves into believing that it is just a short-term situation and things will get better. These two groups irritate each other and they argue on this board.

Those of us who know football know that the only way to move the needle with this program is to replace the coaching staff. Now, that said, there is no guarantee that the new staff will fix the situation. That, plus the ridiculous buy-out for Fu, means that we are stuck in purgatory.

None of this is player's fault. It is fundamentally wrong to blame them for anything. They were recruited and coached by the staff. Their performance lies squarely on the coaches.

This is a 7-8 win team with Fu and his staff. You can count on them to get completely outclassed in 2-3 games per year and to spit the bit 2-3 games per year. It is what it is.
