Get guys who can win individual championships and team-podium finishes

take care of themselves.

Now, I get it. You must think a podium finish would give the program a bigger boost than another individual championship (by another wrestler). I am not sure I agree, but I have no data to argue either side. Did Tech's recruiting pick up more after the 4th-place place finish in 2016 or after Lewis's title? Hard to say because a coaching change also took place. I kind of feel like Lewis's title gave the program more juice than the 4th-place finish. With that said, I absolutely think Tech needs to get back to first in the ACC, and a podium-level team would accomplish that.

How about doing both?
