.... I grew up as a Terps fan in the days of Randy White and Steve Atkins, when the Terps were top-5 material. Family had season tickets at Byrd. And it was a cool scene back then.

Now I've actually lived in Maryland over 30 years. Eff the Terps. I don't HATE them like I hate UNC, just complete contempt, that's all. The scene in College Park has become too toxic to really consider UMD as a football program -- even for an old-time Terp fan.

Let UMD be an example to VT and Bburg of what NOT to do over the next 25 years.
