Good backs make mediocre lines look good


No matter what the blocking scheme a crack usually develops somewhere(unless lineman are getting overrun) A back with good instincts and vision will find that crease even if he has to wait a sec or 2 for it to develop. Herbert was great at that. Then the elite backs can make the second level miss and we have a big gain.
