I agree the defense isn't good enough to win games by themselves...


This is no longer the Bud Foster "Lunch Pail" defense that had the ability to carry the team and win games by themselves when the offense struggles. This is a defense that can be solid enough to help win games, when the offense is playing above average or putting in their fair share of work. But, not an defense which can completely put the game on their shoulders, when the offense is steadily getting 3 and outs, not moving the ball much and only putting up 7 points.
