What? Special teams is our best unit, Robinson is a top 10 punt returner
Sure we may leave 5-10 yards on the table by not fair catching kickoffs, but we've had multiple big kickoff returns this year that have had major positive impacts which the offense was unable to capitalize on.
We've not given up a big special teams play on defense in years, our specialists for the most part are top 10. Bradburn was great, Johnson is in the NFL, Slye is in the NFL, Moore is fantastic, our kicker was inconsistent but has come on.
Sorry but have to completely disagree, the "hidden yardage" on kickoffs doesn't matter at all because we can't get a first down. Likelihood of scoring is much higher if we break 1 out of 10 returns than if we started on the 25 all 10 drives.
