It's not just one guy, they don't tailor the O to BB's strengths either...


BB is fast and can execute in the short passing game but isn't big and doesn't have a strong arm. What should an offense with BB look like IMO? Anything that gets him to the edge: inside zone reads and RPOs, or boot action that cuts the field in half and gives BB run/pass options, etc. What does Corn call? jet sweep/outside zone midlines, deep curls/deep outs, and deep shots outside the numbers. None of that plays to BB's strengths. Most of his running should be when he has the option to do so to put stress on the defense, and not when he's escaping the pocket because no one is open or protection breaks down.
