The Honda Element Was the Right SUV at Exactly the Wrong Time


When I was last "truck shopping," it came down to the Toyota X-Runner, the Toyota FJ Cruiser, and the Honda Element AWD. It was very close, but I went with the X-Runner for the ability to put a scoop of mulch in the back.

There are a few Elements in my neighborhood, one FJ Cruiser, and I have the only X-Runner.
