Anybody who has been paying any attention to this program over the last 3-4 years knew that it was being run into the ground. Poor recruiting. Poor offensive coaching. Inept OC. Disconnected head coach. What were you expecting this year? You would have to be a true PATT fan to think that anything above 0.500 was a certainty for this season.

I personally expected this to happen. More so, VT is going to be a shit show for at least the next 4-5 years, regardless of what is done with the coaching staff. Short of a miracle, prepare yourself to ride it out. Panic and yelling now will not avoid this outcome. The future was set when we lost to ODU and Duke back to back.

I think the real issue is less Fu and more Witt and the athletic administration . Witt made a fatal error in extending Fu's contract without the track record to justify it.
