got this linked in my VT MBB email today. it's going to be hard to make


a lot of noise with a mask on.

the alternative is to cheer with your mouth full of food or drink.

"INDOOR MASK MANDATES
In keeping with current guidelines related to wearing masks at university events, Virginia Tech will require masks regardless of vaccination status for all indoor events scheduled for Cassell Coliseum. Such events include wrestling matches, men's and women's basketball games, and the 2021 fall commencement ceremonies. Masks are already required to be worn for volleyball matches within Cassell.

Proof of vaccination or a negative test will not be required to attend an event at Cassell Coliseum. Masks can be removed when people are actively eating or drinking."

yeah! i understand: at least we'll be in Cassell with the team!
