I mean the program is still in a much better place that it has been at

times during those last 50 years. This is what concerns me about the VT fan base. If they think .500-ish seasons are hum drum then what's going to happen if we bring in a new coach and he wins 2 or 3 games the first season as we rebuild? Based on some of the posts here you'd think we haven't had a winning season in decades or something. I guess my point is yeah things are not great right now but it's very possible that they get worse before they get better (regardless of who our coach is).
