My grandfather was a spittin image of Pa Walton - even started in the lumber business in the same time period and similar geography.

Never forget him once laughing his ass off when watching The Waltons. The scene was Pa couldn't do something or go somewhere because he "had to finish off this order of 4 x 4's" - as he gestured over his shoulder - to a pile of "logs" about 5" in diameter.
