Well the problem with part of that is


Whitt can't directly contact an active coach only indirectly and those conversations are iffy. And even if he could or is talking indirectly that does not guarantee anything.
Coaches, including Beamer, have used such situations to increase salaries and budgets where they are.
More than one program has traded down after the smoke and mirror candidates have left the stage.
IMHHO, There is no nailed to the board anyone waiting in the wings.
And you'd have to think anyone who would contact him now isn't working.. and that's not necessarily good.
