it is because the other guys cheated or paid the player, his parents, or coach!! I enjoy your posts and knowledge of players, coaches and basketball. I have watched you predict who would sign with whom. I think it just points out the perils of dealing with 17-18 KIDS! I officiated at Oak Hill Academy for 10-15 years and became friends(close to some of the players) with these young men. To watch the pressure and manipulation of these players was disheartening. They have been "special" since they started out playing all their friends. You cannot predict what they are going to decide and what will make the decisions for them. I do agree that I saw some questionable things take place..but most of the time, the players make their decisions on the emotions they get from a certain coach.
