He might play well, then the "why didn't you play him earlier" question???


My guess is that he probably is not ready to take control and if he does poorly it could put a little knot in his brain. I don't know him or much about him. His size is appealing to have back there though.

If I were the coach, I'd dedicate a GA to receivers and QB's. They'd be over there on that part of the field and all they'd do when not practicing with the first team is practicing each and every play in the playbook over and over and over. Nobody would ever be standing around. (I know. That is why I am not the coach.)
