As Hokies do, let’s wish them well as they depart. Especially the kids.

Say what you want about coach… And wish him well wherever he ends up. The family will go through a tough time, and kids at that age can be difficult. They are still human beings. Things didn’t work out here. But it’s never easy to follow a Hall of Fame legend. Look around other places in the same situation – it didn’t work out there either. Memories have been made in the past six years - both good and bad.

None of that should stop HokieNation from being the true first class fans that we are. Farewell, Coach and family. Sorry things didn’t work out here. Good luck in the future.
