Don't think he had quite the same arm strength, but...

...he had a better touch on his passes...especially the short and mid-range passes. Mike's passes came out like a cannon, so you had to be ready when one was headed your way...lol

But Mike could throw the ball 80 yards "flat footed." Wouldn't be surprised if he could throw it 100 yards on the run...and there hasn't been many NFL QBs with that kind of arm strength.
