More evidence of the insanity of college sports.

Mel Tucker is a mediocre coach, at best. He has done nothing to justify that kind of salary increase. Talk about recency bias - apparently one win over Michigan is enough for MSU boosters to spend money like drunken sailors. This season hasn't even played out yet! Hope Sparty enjoys watching their new 9 Million Dollar Man get waxed by tOSU this weekend.

BTW... one could argue that Tucker largely owes his success this year to a player recruited and developed by...
