You're making a great decision. I think having a close-knit support group will make a world of difference.

If there's one word of advice I would give you - and please don't take this as me casting judgment, as I assure you I am not - going forward, you may need to avoid alcohol altogether. I think I recall you mentioning having a casual drink after you first got sober, and I was concerned for you based on what I know of alcoholism. It seems SO difficult to keep an addiction at bay if you occasionally dip your toes in the water. I'm not saying it's not possible, but I think your odds of beating this once and for all will be much higher if you can just stay away from alcohol.

We are all pulling for you, and you will be in my prayers! Keep us updated.
