The rumor that VT will be meeting a head coach in dallas to finalize. (the note was coach was leading a team with a critical game that would be in the conference playoffs).

Ok we go directly ot the big 12 and Oklahoma State (but guess what the CUSA championship game will be played in San Antonio and a certain coach is playing to get there this weekend). You have to fly through dallas to get to san antonio (and its a 3 hr drive from san antonio to dallas.

However, if its Oklahoma State guy, I really have a deeper concern about Whit and his understanding the culture at VT. That Texas cockiness, offense first mentality does not fit the culture of VT, the mid atlantic and Virginia, The Oklahoma State coach has been controversial and getting into political discussions (which is always a negative)..... He and Fuentes are persons of the the same cloth and frankly good friends. We know also Whit like old man Rich Rod, and the old coach of WV you is now at Houston). All 'party hardy folks" single guys who you see them on a friday night closing the bar and be ready for game day the next morning. these sort of guys but dont think about they representing the institution. We had that with Jimmy Sharp and the results were the president took over the hiring and got Dooley for AD and football coach (and Dooley changed the narrative of VT football) ..

If this is a choice for VT, I question if Whit needs to go. ( If its the guy from Ok State, Im afraid we lose all the great support from the ex hokie players who gave their sweat to support the place. Many of them have had already had it with whit and his solutions for outreach to veteran players by just another power point marketing phrase. He dont know how to talk to them.....
