I want to start using QuickBooks for my business expenses, as opposed to the hodge-podge of my paltry sole proprietorship manual entries.
(Note: I will not defend using QuickBooks or reply to any who suggest alternatives; neither will I reply to sole proprietorship alternative business format suggestions, however well-meaning they may be.)
I buy gas and food at our local Harris Teeters. My bank debit card account expenses, imported into QB, only shows "Harris Teeter", even though in my bank debit card account the gas and food purchases are number-ID'd differently.
How do I get QB to distinguish between the two? I've created Rules and yet that doesn't seem to work.
