Another opportunity may be to keep the defense in place with Hamilton and Price and go after Jerry Kill. He is interim coach at TCU and was helping out Patterson before Patterson was fired/retired. He helped Fuentes when he was at VT by being the coach whisperer for Fuentes who was so stubborn and inflexible. Kill knows VT football and recruiting in the midwest and Texas the rest of our coaches can recruit the traditional VT recruiting areas. Kill has had medical issues which are reportedly is under control . Kill can be the CEO and bring in an offensive staff VT needs and he would come without the buyout expense and his contract would be less costly then going after another head coach candidate. More money to recruit an OC that Kill could groom hor future HC like Foster did for Hamilton.
