Not as insane as you think. Folks are looking for big names and Fuentes was the hottest name in the business when he replaced Frank. How did that work? Fuentes won with Beaner’s talent. JC Price is a helluva a recruiter, knows the state, fits the culture of the university, can instill toughness that lacked after Beaner. He can get a very good staff and more importantly a half competent offensive coordinator / staff. That would at least make us competitive. You got to realize that the ACC is weak and you don’t need a brilliant coach but a tough one who can get talent and get that talent to perform.
